A fresh, innovative take on your summer staples”

In a statement sent to Vegan Food and Living, Co-op shared “We’ve not been able to say ‘YES’ to very much for a while now, but this summer’s looking hopeful for the return of get-togethers”

“We’ve got you covered for all the festivities that are hopefully on the horizon”

The supermarket also promised that the Gro summer range is “A fresh, innovative take on your summer staples”.

Co-op’s plant-based price cuts

The new launch comes only weeks after Co-op announced to cut the cost of 29 plant-based products from the Gro range, making them the same prices as meat and dairy-based equivalents.

The price cuts are part of the Co-ops new sustainability drive to reach carbon-neutral by 2025.
