Now, the Olympic gold champ will join a slew of other celebs who have backed Wicked Kitchen.

“It’s really exciting to have more and more influential and inspiring people choosing to eat plant-based,” said Wicked Kitchen CEO Pete Speranza.
“By working together, we can continue to make massive change. With investors such as Chris Paul, our momentum as a global-impact brand is undeniable.”
Speranza added: “We’re uniquely positioned as more consumers and top-performers are recognizing the difference plant-based eating can have on their health and wellness.
“This helps make the demand for chef-crafted, cravable plant-based foods unstoppable.”

Plant-based ‘for life’
Paul says he ditched animal products for ‘performance purposes’ only. However, he soon realised the way of eating was ‘for life’ after witnessing how his body changed.
“Years ago, I probably wouldn’t have even gone outside to run around with my kids and all the other activities because my body would be aching,” he told GQ.
“Now, with the constant lifting and making sure that my body is always ready, it’s been a good lifestyle change for me.”
Paul added: “I think reducing inflammation has helped me. I’m not saying going plant-based is for everybody but for me, that was one of the first things I focused on.z
“To play the amount of games and minutes that I’ve played and still feel good is a win for me.”
