Global cosmetic brand Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has announced it is now officially Leaping Bunny approved by Cruelty Free International.

Cruelty Free International’s (CFI) Leaping Bunny Programme is the internationally recognisable gold standard in cruelty-free beauty and is awarded to brands that meet its rigorous globally-applied criteria.

In order to gain approval from CFI, the beauty brand had to demonstrate that every part of the global product development, supply chain, and distribution complies with the stringent Leaping Bunny criteria.

Moreover, this announcement marks another huge step in the right direction in the fight against cosmetics animal testing.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty believes that everyone should have access to its empowering range of skincare and makeup.

The brand has maintained a commitment to fighting against animal testing since its launch in 2013.

Following rigorous checks, the brand has earned its Leaping Bunny cruelty-free status.

In addition, Charlotte Tilbury offers a wide range of award-winning vegan make-up and skincare.

CEO of Cruelty Free International, Michelle Thew, shared: “I am thrilled to be partnering with Charlotte Tilbury Beauty and bringing great cruelty-free choices to consumers everywhere.

“For a company this size, Leaping Bunny approval is a huge undertaking and shows just how serious the brand is about being cruelty-free and ending the suffering of animals for cosmetics.”

“We can build confidence and we can change the world”

In a statement made to Vegan Food & Living, Founder Charlotte Tilbury MBE said: “I am incredibly proud that we have achieved Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny approval, a crucial industry benchmark for cruelty-free beauty.”

The founder explained how the new partnership with CFI supports the purpose and value of the beauty brand.

Tilbury added: “I believe that with the right makeup and skincare, we can build confidence and we can change the world – being cruelty-free really is at the foundation of that!”
