Caffè Nero is getting in the spirit of Veganuary with the launch of its new ‘Veganero’ menu.
Launching in stores from 8th January, the new vegan menu will include a range of new vegan options for breakfast, lunch and dessert that have been “made from the highest quality Italian inspired ingredients” according to the company.
In what they claim is a first for UK high-street coffee shops chains, Caffè Nero is launching vegan raspberry croissants (£1.95) that are the perfect way to start your day. Made with vegan-friendly ingredients using the same method of folding and resting as Caffè Nero’s standard puff pastry, Caffè Nero believe they “guarantee a traditional flaky and buttery texture.”

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Will Stratton-Morris, CEO at Caffe Nero UK said: “We’re committed to offering our customers more choice and the deliciously good food they deserve, whether that is an indulgent treat that hits the sweet spot or a hearty lunch.
“This menu is not only perfect for those following a vegan diet or purposely trying to reduce their meat intake, in fact, the products are such high quality that you wouldn’t know they were vegan.”
