High-street coffee shop chain Caffè Nero is feeling festive as it announces the launch of its new Christmas menu.

Coffee shop chain Caffè Nero has welcomed its new festive menu to stores and it includes some tasty new vegan options.

Back for another year, the Star-Topped Vegan Mince Pies (£2) with a mincemeat filling wrapped in sweet pastry and decorated with a star and a sugar dusting, are the perfect sweet treat to accompany a hot drink this winter.

What could be more delicious than a Christmas-dinner inspired sandwich for lunch during the festive season? Caffè Nero has certainly delivered with its Vegan Roast Dinner Ciabatta (£4.55).

The hearty sandwich is stuffed with parsnip fritters with spiced butternut squash, kale and cranberry sauce in a hand-stretched ciabatta. Perfect for festive feasting!

Caffè Nero is also offering customers the chance to build their own festive latte or hot chocolate using their preferred choice of milk.

Customers can choose from a range of festive drink flavours including Salted Caramel Drizzle Spiced Ginger with Cinnamon, Hazelnut & Chocolate Chip and Caramelised Almond with Golden Crunch which can be made vegan by opting for dairy-free milk and leaving off the whipped cream and marshmallows.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Will Stratton-Morris, CEO at Caffe Nero UK, commented: “We’re continuing to transform high street food by extending our new deli menu further and offering more choice for customers, with the launch of our fantastic new Christmas offering.

“The fresh new products reflect the premium quality of our coffee and the vegan options mean more delicious options for all customers. We wanted to celebrate the launch by rewarding our loyal customers the best way we know how – more free coffees on us.”
