Caffè Nero has revamped its menu to make on-the-go eating a tastier experience with the launch of its new deli-style menu.
Caffè Nero has unveiled its new deli menu with a catwalk at its Covent Garden store this week. Coinciding with London Fashion Week, the company enlisted the help of top celebrity stylist Gayle Rinkoff and tasked her with creating a series of autumnal fashion looks inspired by Nero’s new range.
The new menu makes the most of fresh, seasonal ingredients in dishes such as its salads, which includes Vegan Roasted Beetroot, Carrot & Mixed Grain Salad and the Vegan Tricolore Cherry Tomato, Cucumber & Radish Bowl Salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and pumpkin seeds with a hint of dill. All salads are priced at £1.90 as a side or £3.80 as a main.
The coffee shop chain has also added a new sandwich to the menu in the form of the Vegan Deli Sandwich which contains sweet potato, spicy vegan mayo and smoky tomatoes on Italian pane Pugliese bread.
Announcing the new menu, Will Stratton-Morris, CEO at Caffè Nero UK, said: “Our stylish new food offering has been crafted using the highest quality, Italian-sourced ingredients to ensure our food quality mirrors our premium and award-winning, hand crafted coffee, superior store design and first-class service, whilst continuing to strengthen the premium nature of the brand.
From colourful open salad bowls to artisanal sausage rolls, vegan salads and light and indulgent sweets – we’re confident that the new menu will make every day food occasions exceptional for our customers and give great value for money!”
Last year, the company added a vegan cheese toastie to the menu with sundried cherry tomatoes, dairy-free coconut oil mozzarella style grates, vegan pesto, salad leaves and a tomato mayonnaise on sundried tomato sourdough bread.
