Bristol is already home to some great vegan eateries, but there’s always room for more and the city could soon be home to an incredible new street food stall selling some delectable baked goods – with one big difference.

Pie Baby make delicious, New Zealand-style vegan pies and have taken part in pop-ups and small-scale events all over London previously. From their home kitchen armed with a passion for vegan junk food and full on flavour they have created a variety of their own unique pie recipes.
However, the team behind the concept have recently relocated to Bristol and have since launched a Crowdfunding campaign to raise £15,000 to pay for a permanent Pie Baby stall, along with equipment needed to store, prepare and cook the pies.
If the business’ bid is successful, its owners Lara Fair and husband Finn plan to start selling their pies at Bristol’s ever-growing street food markets, before expanding further and hopefully setting up their very own diner.

Owners Lara and Finn said: “Ultimately we would love Pie Baby to be available to everyone, everywhere. But we will start a little closer to home.
“We plan to start selling locally providing pies at community markets, through small businesses and festivals across Bristol, then quickly venture further afield to other locations. With your support we want to create a fantastic Pie Baby stall, be ready to hit the street food markets and make a big splash on the vegan food scene. Ultimately we would love to have our own Pie Baby Diner to call home.
“The funds we raise, with your support, will help Pie Baby get set up with an awesome original market stall and all the equipment for preparing, cooking and storing our delicious pies. Our market stall will be our main point of contact for expanding the Pie Baby family, growing our business and reaching and filling as many pie holes as we can.”
