Vegan Festival UK runs a series of events across the UK, and the group have now decided to hold the first of many vegan festivals in Bradford this weekend (24th June) due to the rising popularity of veganism in the district.

The Newcastle Vegan Festival, held earlier this month.

Held at Valley Parade from 10.30am to 4.30pm, the event will feature numerous speakers and experts as well as vendors selling vegan products, including food, drink and clothing.

Among those appearing at the festival are world record marathon runner Fiona Oakes, who has won both the Antarctic Ice Marathon and the North Pole Marathon. There will also be workshops on how the best ways to take on a vegan diet, as well as a huge selection of vegan business’s coming from across the UK where festival goers can discover a wide range of vegan products.

Festival organisers will also be handing some vegan goodies and vouchers to vegan restaurants in the area on a first come first serve basis, so make sure you head down early!

The festival will be coming to the Bradford Football Club on June 24th, and tickets for the event cost £2.
