Animal sanctuary Barn Sanctuary has launched a personalised vegan meal plan to make eating a plant-based diet easy, convenient and affordable to all.
Michigan-based animal sanctuary Barn Sanctuary, who have a large online following thanks to their adorable videos showing the fun founder and President of the sanctuary, Dan McKernan, has with the residents, has launched a vegan meal planner called the Kitchen Companion.
Designed to help make mealtimes simpler and show how ‘easy, convenient, and affordable’ eating a plant-based diet can be, the Kitchen Companion is an online subscription that allows users to create their own personalised weekly meal plans.
The plan features a wide variety of affordable recipes that have been created by a chef and approved by nutritionists and gives users the ability to customise the meal plan and recipes depending on their kitchen experience and the ingredients and utensils they have available, as well as how much time they have to make the dish. To save time and money at the store, the meal planner even has a handy grocery planner.
Speaking about the decision to launch a plant-based meal planner, McKernan said: “We started Barn Sanctuary in 2016 to rescue as many farmed animals as possible. We want to empower and inspire everyone to make a positive impact for the animals as well! Eating plant-based is another great way to save hundreds of animals and better your health.
“The Kitchen Companion will help you make a world of difference with a delicious plan to simplify your life.”
A subscription to the Kitchen Companion cost $14 a month or $99 annually. Customers can enjoy a saving of 40% if they sign up for the yearly plan.
