Vegan ice-cream brand Coconuts Organic has launched its range of award-winning dairy-free ice-creams in Tesco.
Award-winning vegan ice-cream brand Coconuts Organic (formerly known as Coconuts Naturally) first found fame on BBC Dragon’s Den with their range of delicious vegan ice-creams, and now the company has just launched its range in 600 Tesco stores across the UK.
Launched in 2015 by entrepreneur Cecily Mills, the Cornwall-based business has achieved more than 100% sales growth every year in its first three years thanks to the rapidly-growing customer appetite for vegan products.
To celebrate the rebrand and Tesco launch, two brand new flavours will be available exclusive to Tesco stores – Choc Orange Swirl and Double Caramel. The tubs are priced at £5 for a 460ml tub.
Other flavours in the range include Creamy Coconut, Pure Chocolate, Pure Caramel, Rum ‘N’ Raisin and Mint Choc.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, CEO and Founder, Cecily Mills said: “Securing a listing with Tesco UK is a real milestone for the business, and we are so excited to share our two new flavours with Tesco shoppers.
“This has been a huge year for us – starting out with a successful crowdfunding campaign, and now the rebrand, new product launch and coming on board with Tesco. For me personally, it feels like a huge achievement to have Coconuts Organic in supermarket freezers across the country.”
Coconuts Organic is available to purchase in Tesco now and is also currently available UK-wide via Ocado as well as in independent stores and cafes.
