Asda has committed to uphold its reputation as ‘Vegan Retailer of the Year’ with its latest launch.
The supermarket’s vegan bakery addition has proved a hit with vegans and non-vegans alike for its soft and chewy texture.
Fans of the Plant-Based range have deemed the vegan cookies as a taste sensation, sharing on social media: “The texture is the same as ‘normal’ cookies and the flavour is amazing.”
Additionally, Asda’s cookies have been approved by The Vegan Society trademark, confirming they are free of animal ingredients.
Furthermore, you can now find Plant-Based’s cookies in stores nationwide and online.

Vegan Retailer of the Year
In November 2021, Asda was named Vegan Retailer of the year in recognition of its superb range of quality vegan alternatives, awarded by the prestigious Quality Food Award.
In September 202, the UK retailer became the first supermarket to launch an ambient vegan aisle, offering accessible and affordable plant-based and free from ingredients and products.
In addition, Asda has initiated its low-waste sustainability store and even trialled an in-store vegan butcher counter.
We see no sign of the supermarket slowing down its terrific efforts to offer low-price sustainable vegan products.
