Asda is launching a whopping 48 delicious vegan products in its festive range including everything from canapés to centrepieces to ensure everyone can enjoy a delicious Christmas.
News of supermarket’s vegan ranges for Christmas 2020 is coming in thick and fast with Tesco, Waitrose, Aldi and Co-op revealing the festive plant-based options coming to stores this winter.
Now Asda is ringing in the festive cheer nice and early with reports suggesting the supermarket will launch its largest-ever vegan range this year.
Over the past year, Asda has seen a 275 per cent increase in customers searching for vegan food products on its website and increasing its vegan offering this Christmas following the success of last year’s meat-free favourites such as the Extra Special Festive Vegan Wellington.

This year the supermarket will launch a whopping 48 delicious vegan products in its festive range including everything from canapés to centrepieces to ensure everyone can enjoy a delicious Christmas.

Party foods
Throw a Christmas party your guests will never forget with Asda’s wide range of plant-based canapes inspired by cuisines from around the world.
Tuck into fluffy vegan Bao Buns filled with fragrant Asian flavours and spices, including BBQ jackfruit, Char Sui Mushroom and Massaman Vegetable.
There’s also a Mexican-style vegan selection which includes mini chilli bean burritos and vegetable nacho triangles as well as an Oriental selection which includes mini duckless spring rolls, katsu won tons and vegetable fritters.
Main course
According to Asda, its fully vegan turkey is the “perfect pick” for vegans looking to enjoy a cruelty-free Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
The realistic roasting joint is made from a blend of seasoned soya-protein and seasoned filled with a caramelised onion and herb stuffing.
You can load up your plate with all the trimmings as the supermarket will also be offering plant-based Chestnut, Cranberry and Apple Stuffing Balls and soy-based Spiced Apple and Orange Cocktail Sausages.
Pastry fans fear not because Asda is also launching a savoury pastry-wrapped Yule Log that makes for a tasty centrepiece.
The Wellington-inspired dish is filled with veggie mince combined with chestnuts and cranberries all wrapped in flaky puff pastry and topped with a sage and onion herb sprinkle.
Dessert
Putting a new spin on the classic gingerbread house, the supermarket has created a Christmas Cottage Dessert for Christmas 2020.
This striking centrepiece is completely dairy and egg-free and truly decadent!
This creamy dessert hides a chocolate mousse centre laced with a tangy morello cherry compote atop a tiffin base made with chopped dates, raisins and dark chocolate encased in a dark chocolate shell.
The range will be available in stores and online at Asda.com between October and December.
