Earlier this month, UK supermarket Asda launched a huge new affordable range of 48 plant-based products, and it has just expanded the range to include a new limited-edition vegan pizza at its in-store pizza counters.

The new vegan pizza is loaded with a rainbow of vegetables and is priced at £2.70 and will be available to purchase at all Asda pizza counters until January 26th.

“There has never been more demand for plant-based products across every shopping category, so we are pleased we can offer lots of variety and give our customers more plant-based options to enjoy in 2020,” said Asda’s Buying Manager Guy Dobson.

“At Asda we’re passionate that our customers don’t have to compromise on quality or price, and our plant-based options are no different – whether that’s our new Plant Based range or our delicious new pizza.”

The supermarket previously released a delicious stonebaked vegan cheese pizza loaded with mushrooms and veggies in a bid to meet the growing demands from customers for vegan options.
