With coffee shops closed during lockdown, plant-based milk company Alpro is keen to offer its support to local independent stores with the introduction of a free stock initiative.

Hoping to make it easier for small businesses to get back up and running in the weeks after lockdown, Alpro will be giving a case of each of the products from its full Barista For Professional range at zero cost to coffee shops who apply to the program.

The range includes Alpro Oat Barista For Professionals, Alpro Almond Barista For Professionals, Alpro Soya Barista For Professionals, Alpro Coconut Barista For Professionals.

The company’s website states: “We want to give coffee shops our wholehearted support, both now & when lockdown is over. So, as soon as you’re ready to open, we’ll provide you with the full Barista For Professional range at 0 cost.

“We hope that this will help your cashflow in your first few weeks, and also give you the chance to get developing some new plant-based creations. We’ll work with your nominated wholesaler to have the products sent out to you, so just fill out the form below and we’ll take care of the rest.”
