Alpro has expanded its range of dairy-free ice-creams as it launches a new range of low-calorie soya-based ice-creams.
Plant-based dairy alternative brand Alpro has expanded its range of dairy-free ice-creams as it launches a new range of low-calorie soya-based ice-creams.
Each tub in the Alpro 360 range contains just 360 calories and are available in a variety of tempting flavours such as Caramel Macchiato, Velvety Chocolate and Passionate Mango flavours.
According to Alpro, the plant-based ice-creams, which cost £5 for a 450ml tub, contain no sweeteners and boast and impressive 30% less sugar than other comparable products.
The new range takes inspiration from low-calorie ice-cream brand Halo Top by clearly displaying the calorie content clearly on the front of each tub.
The tubs also showcase Alpro’s newly designed logo which is set to roll out across its entire product range later this year.
Speaking to The Grocer about the new branding, UK and Ireland marketing director, David Jiscoot, said: “The packaging for Alpro 360 marks the first stage of an exciting brand refresh for Alpro. We are looking forward to revealing the brand new look for the rest of the Alpro range in due course.”
Alpro unveiled its debut range of vegan ice-creams in 2016 with flavours including Vanilla, Hazelnut Chocolate and Coconut.
Alpro’s 360 range is available to purchase in Morrisons and Ocado now.
