Known as a budget retailer, Aldi is making Veganuary 2021 easier on the wallet as well as the stomach. With over 20 new vegan products, you certainly won’t go hungry this January or feel like you’re missing out.
Aldi is also anticipating its vegan food sales to double this Veganuary as a result of a record-breaking 500,000+ sign-ups to the plant-based pledge this year. And with such a brilliant new range, we can see why!
Breakfast
Located in the ‘Special Buys’ section, Aldi has brought back their Vegan Pain Au Chocolat for the perfect indulgent breakfast treat. The French-inspired treats are individually wrapped, so they’re perfect for an on-the-go snack too.
Aldi is also launching two new thick and creamy yoghurts in Mango and Passionfruit and Strawberry Compote flavours. Who needs dairy?
Lunch
For an easy work-from-home lunch, Aldi has launched three new ‘Power Bowls’ in Katsu, Mediterranean, and Morrocan Tagine flavours. Each one packs a plant-powered punch from healthy protein sources.
Aldi has also revealed its new Plant Menu Veggie Dippers and its Vegan Pasties in Sheese and Morrocan Vegetable varieties.

Dinner
Aldi now has all the makings for an epic vegan burger using their Vegan Burger Patties, Vegan Brioche Buns, Violife Epic Mature and Plant Menu Mayonnaise in Original or Peri-Peri.
Moreover, the retailer is launching garlicky No Chicken Kievs, No Meat Meatballs, two new vegan pies, and a meat-free Chicken Arrabiata pizza.
These new vegan options will hopefully make dinner times a little easier this Veganuary.
Dessert
For a show-stopping dessert, Plant Menu Melt in the Middle Puddings will convert even the most savoury-inclined to become a chocoholic. The puddings come in two flavours: Chocolate and Caramel. Want to pimp up your pudding? Add Aldi’s Gianni’s Vegan Ice Cream in either Salted Caramel, Chocolate Brownie or Peanut Butter varieties.
Prefer something more snacky? Aldi has also launched vegan white and milk chocolate bars in their Moser Roth chocolate range. Moreover, you can pick up Plant Menu Chocolate Cookies in Chocolate or Fruity Flapjack flavour.
Other new products include:
- Vegan Pesto (red and green)
- Vegan Caeser Dressing
- Vegan Coleslaw
- Vegan Cupcakes
- Korean Inspired BBQ Chicken Sandwich
The entire range is available in Aldi now, with prices starting from just 99p.
