Aldi’s Plant Menu range has evolved at a rapid speed in recent years.

Plant Menu now offers a wide selection of veganised classic products that help make the switch to plant-based a breeze.

Just this week the budget supermarket debuted its affordable Valentine’s Day Vegan dine-in deal.

Additionally, many of its vegan products also rival fast-food chains such as KFC and Nandos.

In a statement, Aldi’s managing director of buying, Julie Ashfield, said: “Veganuary is getting bigger and bigger each year as the UK’s appetite and interest in plant-based food grows.

“In response to that demand, we’re continuing to expand our vegan offering, giving our shoppers plenty of choice and all at great value.”

Furthermore, the award-winning supermarket sees no sign in slowing down its innovative plant-based launches.

Veganuary 2022

Veganuary 2022 saw a record-breaking rise in sign-ups, with over 629,000 participants taking the pledge.

Since launching in 2014, the campaign has influenced millions of people and brands to acknowledge veganism and how it can improve our planet and health.

In addition to Aldi’s sales increase, UK supermarket Tesco also saw sales of its Wicked Kitchen range grow by 127%.

Wicked Kitchen Co-founder, Derek Sarno, shared1: “Hats off to Veganuary for making 2022 their biggest year yet!

“It’s amazing that this movement has inspired more than 2 million people to try eating vegan for a month since it began.”

Moreover, we can’t wait to see Veganuary continue to influence and inspire people for the better. Roll on next year!
