Following on from the release of its range of own-brand vegan ready meals, Aldi is now trialling a new line of vegan minces to help make cooking meat-free meals easier for customers.

The Deli Mushroom Mince range is now available in selected stores across the region and includes Chilli Non-Carne Mince and Bolognese Mushroom Mince.

The new meatless minces are available for just £1.29 per 250g serving, with the Chilli Non-Carne Mince featuring diced mushrooms, red onion and kidney beans in a chilli marinade.

The Bolognese Mushroom Mince is perfect for pasta dishes thanks to its blend of diced mushrooms, red onion and a blend of garlic and herb marinade inspired by traditional Italian flavours.

These meat-free minces are available in over 135 stores across the South East for a limited time, but if they prove popular, Alid will roll them out to stores nationwide.
