Budget supermarket Aldi has launched a new online hamper service complete with a vegan hamper bursting with plant-based treats

Christmas is a time for giving, and few things are more fun to receive (and give!) than a hamper loaded up with festive treats.

Hampers are typically an expensive gift option that can see you spending hundreds of pounds, but budget supermarket Aldi is ensuring everyone can enjoy a touch of luxury this Christmas as it launches a new collection of hampers including a vegan-friendly option.

Vegans certainly won’t miss out when it comes to Aldi treats this Christmas with the Vegan Hammer (£29.99) which contains a huge selection of plant-based delicacies to enjoy all through December.

Packed in a wicker basket, the hamper contains Strawberry Gourmet Gummy Candies, Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies, Moser Roth Strawberry Creams, Moser Roth Organic Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel Vegan Truffles, a bottle of Estevez Chilean Merlot and more.

The hampers are available to pre-order via Aldi’s website now ready for delivery in November.

On its website, the supermarket writes: “When it comes to finding the perfect Christmas gift for friends and family, there’s a reason why people love our luxury hampers so much. They’re filled with the finest festive treats, snacks and drinks, most of which come from our award-winning Specially Selected range.

“And it’s not one hamper suits all. We have 7 to choose from, including Afternoon Tea, Vegan and Chocolate Celebration. So, select your favourite and pre-order today before they’re gone!
