Aldi has been awarded the 'Top Grocer' award by PETA for its efforts in providing a varied range of vegan food options.

Aldi is a firm favourite among vegan shoppers in the UK. Walking through the food isles, it is clear why, with their vast range of veggie burgers, meatless meatballs, dairy-free cheese and milk options and so much more.

Aldi has evolved over the past few years as more people are going vegan, they have responded to this demand by consistently bringing out vegan-friendly options.

As well a stocking a plethora of vegan brands, Aldi also have a wide variety of ‘accidentally’ vegan snacks and foods. Just remember to always check the ingredients if you’re unsure if an item is vegan-friendly.

PETA stated, ‘Aldi recognizes that shoppers today are looking for products that match their personal values and needs, which is why it’s stocking shelves with plant-based foods galore. Selecting vegan foods is the best choice you can make for animals, your personal health, and the planet.’
