Aldi adds new vegan products including vegan tuna, plant-based ready meals and pizza to stores

A staggering 3.5 million people are expected to take part in Veganuary this year and Aldi UK has responded to this by offering an array of new products to get your year off to a great vegan start!

The Loma Linda Fishless Tuno (£1.09) is made using soy protein and seaweed powder, this fishless classic is available in classic Tuna Mayonnaise or Tuno Spring Water. With also only 0.7g of saturated fat per 100g, it makes the perfect healthy swap and tastes just as good as the real thing!

Aldi’s Plant Menu Vegan Sausage Roll (99p) is also available in two flavours, No Pork or BBQ Jackfruit.

The Limited Edition Eat & Go Korean BBQ Style Chick’n Sandwich is packed with flavour, it is filled with chicken-style pieces smothered in Korean style BBQ sauce and topped with pickled onions, vegan mayonnaise and spinach.

The Plant Menu Vegan Pizza (£1.75) is the perfect plant-based alternative to the nation’s favourite Friday-night treat. There’s a tempting pizza topping for everyone on offer; choose from BBQ Jackfruit, Spicy Cauliflower or ‘Bacon’ & Mushroom. Available in-store from 31st December until March.


Aldi even has you covered with some tasty ready meal options; the Inspired Cuisine Vegan Ready Meals (£2.49) offers Mushroom Bolognese and Three Bean Chilli.

The Plant Menu Vegan Ready Meals (£1.99) are also back by popular demand, available in Smoky BBQ Jackfruit, Red Pepper & Mango Curry and Yellow Thai Curry to cater for any quick dinner for all the family to enjoy!

To satisfy your sweet tooth, the Leone Vegan Choc Stick (£1.49, pack of 3) is available in the creamy flavours of both classic and almond, allowing you to enjoy your must-have indulgence without any of the guilt.
