BBC One’s 2017 winner of the hit TV show The Apprentice, Sarah Lynn, has launched a brand new range of vegan sweets in the UK.
The Apprentice winner Sarah Lynn has released a new range of fruity vegan sweets under the Sweets in the City brand that scooped her the top prize.
Four new products made from real fruit juice for a mouth-watering flavour have launched in Waitrose, Holland & Barrett and 8 major WH Smith airport stores this summer.
The flavour-filled sweets are available in four mouth-watering summer-inspired flavours including Pineapple & Coconut, Mango & Passionfruit, Apple & Watermelon and Strawberry & Lemonade. The chewy sweets even have a jelly centre that’s bursting to get out!
Not only are the sweets suitable for vegans, they’re also gluten-free and made from real fruit juice and natural colours. Pectin has been used in place of gelatine to give the sweets a jelly centre that bursts with a real fruit juice taste. The Watermelon & Apple and Strawberry & Lemon flavours have also been sprinkled with a sugary fizz for an even sweeter taste.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Sarah said: “Sweets in the City offers people beautifully packaged sweets for all occasions, with stylish packaging and a delicious taste, but with the investment from Lord Sugar and our new partnership I wanted to create a truly unique range of vegan sweets that everyone could enjoy.
“The demand is there for a quality product that does not compromise on taste, and that’s exactly what we created with our new range. I’m so excited to share our vegan sweets – and it doesn’t matter if you’re not vegan, they’re still just as delicious.”
The new sweet selection is available exclusively at Waitrose, Selfridges, Holland & Barrett, select WH Smith airport stores and online at www.sweetsinthecity.co.uk.
