A groundbreaking new vegan documentary in debuting in 2018

Following the success of films such as Okja and What the Health, a brand new vegan documentary Eating Our Way to Extinction is set to debut in 2018.

The film is being produced by London-based brothers Ludo and Otto Brockway (through their production company Broxstar Productions) after closing a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in January.

The Brockway brothers released a four-minute clip in 2016 that actor Leonardo DiCaprio shared on Twitter with the caption: “The video future generations will be wishing everyone watched today.”

The new full-length documentary—which will debut as a Facebook film, meaning it has the potential to reach a huge audience through social sharing—focuses on the devastating environmental and health effects of animal agriculture, presented with research that shows the intelligent, emotional lives of farmed animals, with the aim to inspire viewers to adopt a vegan lifestyle.

“Celebrities, leaders, and famous athletes all over the world are making the switch,” the brothers stated on their crowdfunding page, “and the growing interest in a plant-based lifestyle is hitting the mainstream media almost every day. The film will aim to leave audiences feeling moved and inspired; that by making the shift to a plant based diet, they are joining millions of people all over the planet in a global movement that is beginning to change the world.”
