Finding a tasty bite to eat on match day just got easier at Celtic Football Club as it launches a new fully vegan kiosk.
Celtic Football Club is going greener as it announces the launch of a vegan kiosk at Celtic Park that boasts an ‘exclusively plant-based menu for fans to enjoy.’
The kiosk, dubbed Hoops & Roots, opened over the weekend (February 21st) and is located in Section 137 in the Jock Stein Stand lower bowl.
Football fans looking for some tasty plant-based grub to help keep them well-fulled to support their team will find a variety of vegan dishes to choose from including a chilli non-carne and rice, chickpea and butternut squash curry and even a vegan sausage roll.
In a pun-filled announcement, the club said: “HAVE you herb our exciting news? Paradise is going green this weekend, as we launch our new vegan kiosk at the Kilmarnock game on Sunday (February 21)!
“Our new vegan cistin, is a nod back to our proud Irish roots (cistin being the Irish Gaelic word for cook-house or kitchen) with an exclusively plant-based menu for fans to enjoy!”
Chelsea Football Club
Earlier this year, Chelsea Football Club announced the launch of its brand new vegan kiosk, a first for a club in the Premier League.
The club is taking steps towards being more eco-friendly and is working with Levy UK to reduce the “carbon impact of the animal products used on site” by providing more plant-based dishes.
