Love cats and vegan street food? Then make sure you head to London this summer to Catfest festival where you will find feline celebrities, cat-themed cocktails, films, music, talks and vegan street food.
The day-and-night festival for cat lovers will take place at Beckenham Place Mansion on June 29th and will host over 50 exhibitors.
Visitors to the festival will find a selection of buzz-worthy cat accessories, feature films, live music, books, art, along with feline superstar meet-and-greets, including street cat Bob and feline model Starina, and talks from international bestselling authors and feline experts.
If you’re looking to welcome a feline in need into your home then you can meet rescue kittens at the Meow Parlour who are looking for their forever homes for a £5 donation at the door.
To make sure you have plenty of energy to enjoy everything that the festival has to offer there will be a range of vegan street food and cat-themed cocktails to keep you well-fuelled. There will even be kitty-themed cakes to take home!
Part of the proceeds made from the event will be donated to Erham Rescue and International Trash Cat & Dumpster Dog to help cats and kittens in need. Proceeds from the Swell Cat Art Show will benefit Albanian street cats.
Unfortuantely tickets to the festival are now sold out, but movie tickets are still available to purchase. However, in May Catfest will release 200 late-afternoon tickets + Roar screenings with a 4pm entrance.
Catfest takes place at Beckenham Place Park, Beckenham Hill Road, London, BR3 1UH on June 29th. Tickets to the movie events can be purchased via Eventbrite.
