Frozen food supermarket Iceland has been on a mission to up its vegan offerings following the launch of the UK’s largest range of frozen meat alternatives and its popular No Bull ‘bleeding’ burgers. Now the supermarket chain has released details of what vegan products customers can expect to see hitting freezers this Christmas.

Plastic-free

After making waves with its thought-provoking anti-palm-oil advert last Christmas, the retailer is proud to offer a completely palm-oil free range of festive goodies. Not only that, many products will be available in entirely plastic-free packaging whilst others have had their packaging redeveloped to “significantly reduce” plastic.

Looking for tasty party nibbles to serve your guests? This year, Iceland is selling No Bull Burger Sliders which are mini plant-based cheeseburgers made from plant-protein that make fantastic finger food and taste just like a meat burger.

Take the fuss out of catering with Iceland’s Tempura Vegetable Selection which consists of cooked baby corn, green beans, courgette and pumpkin pieces in a crispy tempura batter.
