Festivals and fairs are often a celebration of food and these days you’ll find many vegan vendors travelling around the country serving up delicious vegan street food. Here are some of our favourite vegan food trucks and stalls from around the UK you need to look out for this summer.
Happy Maki
Vegan sushi masters Happy Maki not only have a store in Brighton but they also take their van across the country to spread the delights of vegan sushi to the masses. Known for their sushi burrito rolls stuffed full of rice, veggies and wrapped in nori they are perfect for wandering around the festival with a beer in the other hand!
Epic Veg Kitchen
Somerset-based Epic Veg Kitchen specialises in creating insanely tasty fully-loaded burgers, curries and baked treats all served from a beautifully converted horse trailer called ‘Poppy’. They also have plenty of gluten-free options too!
Greedy Khao
Love Thai food? Greedy Khao is one van you need to seek out immediately! Their dishes are packed with sweet, sour, salty, spicy flavours for a delicious umami-bomb and follow authentic Thai recipes with a plant-based twist.
The Ottö-Men
In need of a fabulous caterer for your next event? Catering for street food, festivals, weddings parties or any special event, The Ottö-Men offer an array of contemporary Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Ottoman inspired food using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Earthlings Edibles
These masters of street food offer a mouth-watering selection of classic dishes such as tofish and chips, burgers, curries and fully-loaded hand-cut chips. Perfect for when you need something stodgy to soak up the booze!
The Green Grill
The Green Grill make sensational vegan fast food using natural plant-based ingredients that will make your mouth water! If you enjoy wrapping your chops around a burger stacked up high with all the trimmings then keep your eyes peeled for The Green Grill at your nearest vegan event this summer.
Feral Food Store
From loaded fries smothered in hot sauce, mayo and topped with Southern fried strips to seitan burgers in charcoal buns, Leeds-based Feral Food Store’s dishes are a treat for the eyes and the mouth!
Lazy Boy Kitchen
Few comfort food dishes hit the spot quite like mac ‘n’ cheese and Lazy Boy Kitchen specialise in creating a plant-based version with a side of BBQ vegan meats. You’ll also find BBQ Jack Ribz, BBQ pitt beans, cheddar & jalapeno cornbread, roasted potatoes, corn on the cobb amongst other tempting dishes on the menu. Is your mouth watering yet?

Sly Fox Food
Based in Edinburgh, Sly Fox Food serve up comfort food such as burgers, mac ‘n’ cheese, pastries and decadent desserts such as cheesecakes all with a healthy twist from their mobile van. The team behind the van want to show that healthy doesn’t mean tasteless and that plant-based doesn’t mean bland or dull.
Club Mexicana
London vegans will be well acquainted with Club Mexicana and their mind-blowing menu of plant-based Mexican-inspired food. From banging vegan tacos, melty mozzarella sticks to burritos and burgers you won’t be able to resist what they have on offer.

The Peckish Peacock
There’s no need to worry that you won’t find The Peckish Peacock as their stunning van is hard to miss! Using ingredients sourced from the UK where possible and only using biodegradable packaging in the van, the team creates an Indian-inspired menu jam-packed with treats such as pakora snack boxes and roti wraps.
Buddha Bowl Van
We love a good Buddha bowl stuffed with a variety of different veggies, proteins and grains, they’re the perfect fuel to keep you partying long into the night at a festival! You’ll find bowls bursting with flavour and texture at this funky food van.
Dee’s Table
Dee’s Table is putting an innovative twist on authentic Jamaican dishes and flavours using fresh vegan flavours and ingredients. Dee’s are masters of vegan pastry and serve up delectable delights such as callaloo and Scotch Bonnet caramelised onion jam parcels, patties and even cookies if you fancy something sweet after your meal!

The Spotless Leopard
Bristol-based food van The Spotless Leopard is a popular hot-spot amongst Bristolians thanks to its sumptuous and decadent variety of homemade vegan cakes and super tasty savoury takeaway options. You’ll find dishes such as blackened tempeh Reuben sandwiches and chilli non carne with brown rice, avocado and corn chips on The Spotless Leopard’s ever-changing menu.
The Doughnut Pod
It’s no secret that we are BIG fans of doughnuts here at VF&L HQ, and they don’t come much more decadent and delicious than Cheshire-based The Doughnut Pod who travel across the UK serving up their sweet treats! Their freshly-made artisan doughnuts are available in a variety of mouth-watering flavours fully loaded with toppings.
