The EU-funded initiative known as “EU Fresh Fruit TC” has the primary objective of promoting European fresh apricots, peaches, nectarines, kiwifruit, plums, cherries and grapes from Greece, as well as fresh cherries, apricots, and plums from Romania, to consumers in the UK and other countries.
The participating organizations in this campaign include the Agricultural Cooperative of Asparagus Producers “A.C. NESTOS”, A.C. Flamouria, and AC SYMBOLO from Greece, as well as the Pro Romanian Food Association – APAR from Romania.
The primary focus of the “EU Fresh Fruit TC” campaign is to raise consumer awareness about the featured fresh fruits while emphasizing the rigorous food safety standards maintained throughout the entire production process, including farming, harvesting, production, and distribution.
