Asda vegan Christmas range: What’s new for 2022?

UK supermarket Asda has kicked off the Christmas festivities as it unveils its vegan Christmas range 2022.

As the cost of living continues to rise, Asda promises to deliver its customers quality products at affordable prices. Asda is the latest supermarket to announce its festive plant-based range after the Tesco vegan Christmas range for 2022 was revealed last week.

Asda’s vegan Christmas range includes 3 new festive items for the holidays:

• Plant Based Breaded Vegan Brie and Sweet Chilli Relish
• Plant Based Vegan Turkey Crown with Umami Stock
• Extra Special Vegan Chocolate Bauble

Vegan starters

The first of Asda’s plant-based festive range features its Plant Based Breaded Vegan Brie and Sweet Chilli Relish.

These vegan cheese bites promise to have a creamy taste and are coated in a paprika and herb crumb. Serve with the sweet chilli and red pepper relish and some dressed leaves for a Christmas dinner starter.

Christmas mains

In previous years, Asda’s plant-based mains have included wellingtons and wreaths. But this year the supermarket has launched its Plant-Based Vegan Turkey Crown with Umami Stock.

The soya-based Christmas vegan roast is covered with a turkey-flavoured crumb and finished with a savoury umami basting stock.

Vegan desserts

Following last year’s Christmas release from Asda, we were disappointed to not see a showstopping pudding.

Thankfully, the supermarket has released a stunning vegan dessert fit for a Christmas table.

Asda’s hand-moulded Extra Special Vegan Chocolate Bauble is made from Belgian chocolate, filled with a dairy-free chocolate mousse, cookie crumble and an oozy caramel sauce.

When is Asda’s vegan Christmas range available?

Although the supermarket has teased us with a first look at the range, Asda is yet to announce the availability and pricing for its vegan Christmas range.
