Following on from the successful launch of its vegan-friendly Easter eggs earlier this year, Cornish confectionery brand Buttermilk is launching a mouth-watering selection of vegan products in Sainsbury’s that can be enjoyed all year round.

Launching in stores in the new year, the range includes three brand new products that are palm oil-free and also free from artificial ingredients.

Perfect for a mid-morning snack, Buttermilk has created Dairy-Free Rocky Road Crunch that is perfect for snacking on. These rich and creamy chocolate squares are studded with vegan-friendly marshmallows, raisins and puffed rice to make them irresistibly crunchy and chewy.

In a statement, Tracy McDonnell Goad of Buttermilk said: “We wanted to create an exceptional treat that was inclusive for everyone and have spent a lot of time perfecting a recipe that really does taste like a premium, indulgent, chocolate treat – it’s for people who can’t eat dairy but don’t want to compromise on taste.  Our secret recipe gives a delicious alternative without that plastic feel or taste free-from chocolate often has.

“We’re unveiling our new look on these packs and you can share your feedback with us by using the hashtag #buttermilkmoments across social media when you’re treating yourself better with Buttermilk.”
