A vegan farmers market is coming to London

Londoners will soon be able to enjoy the delights of shopping for local artisan produce at a farmers market as the city gets set to welcome its first ever entirely vegan farmers market.

Many people enjoy nothing more than wandering around a farmers market at a weekend discovering delicious new products from local and artisan producers, but traditionally farmers markets are not very vegan-friendly.

But Londoners will soon be able to enjoy the delights of shopping at a farmers market as the city gets set to welcome its first ever entirely vegan farmers market in Portobello on March 10.

The event organisers state: “Gone are the days of having to walk past a hog roast as you enter a farmers market or have to, unfortunately, buy your fruit & veg next to the meat and dairy stands.”

Visitors to the market will find a wide array of products you’d typically expect to find at a farmers market, all with a vegan twist.

The market promises visitors will find lots of fresh, organic fruit and vegetables on offer as well as a selection of London’s hottest vegan food traders, serving up the best vegan cuisine available right now.

Artisan traders will also be selling a range of clothing and beauty products as well as handmade vegan cheeses, sauces and superfoods.

So come on down, do your grocery shopping, grab an ethical gift or two and treat yourself to a spot of delicious vegan lunch, and all in a friendly environment.

The Vegan Farmers Market takes place between 10.30am until 2.30pm on March 10 at All Saints Catholic College in St Charles Square, West 10. Get your FREE tickets from Eventbrite.
