Naked Bakery, who are well known for their brightly coloured and creative bakes, has opened an entirely vegan bakery in Edinburgh city centre.

Not only are the delicious baked goods on offer entirely vegan, they are also ”made in a vegan kitchen by vegans”, ensuring peace of mind for those seeking out cruelty-free treats.

According to the company: “It’s our mission to produce not only beautiful looking vegan baked goods but goodies that taste delicious too, edible art that’s naughty but kind.”

Some of the goodies on offer in the bakery include delights such as macarons, chocolate brioche knots, doughnuts and their famous unicorn cupcakes.

There’s also good news for those customers who also avoid gluten as many of their mouth-watering goodies can also be made gluten-free as the owners are keen to offer those with allergies the same choice as their other customers.

”We come from a background of different food allergies, intolerances and when we became vegan we realised this diet/lifestyle eliminates a lot of these problems and most importantly its cruelty-free, better for the environment and your health.”

The Naked Bakery is located on 24A Hill Street, in between Castle Street and Frederik Street
